| Well, we're down to the final stretch. We are in San Antonio until the 3rd of August and then we fly to China. I've found out that I have relatives that live in Beijing where we will be flying into and that they may be able to pick us up from the airport. It's so exciting that I might be able to meet family there. We will have about 3 weeks before classes start and the first week we are there we will be celebrating our first anniversary. As we traveled the past week we had some interesting ordeals. We took our car to McPherson to leave there with friends. Then we went down to Wichita to meet Joyce and Grandpa Farley at their daughters. With all of our baggage ready to go to China, we had to borrow the Crandell's mini van because we couldn't get it all in their little Toyota. We stayed one night in Oklahoma with the Farleys and then they took us to the train station in the morning. We took a train to Fort Worth where we were supposed to transfer to another train for San Antonio. Before we reached Fort Worth we learned that there was a huge storm in Saint Louis that delayed our next train. So the Amtrak got a charter bus to take us the rest of the way. Well, we learned when we got off of the train that one of our bags was over the limit. There was no checked baggage on the first train, but there would have been on the next train. So in this situation we didn't have to worry about it because it didn't matter on the charter bus. Hopefully we can figure out if we need to do some re-packing before we try to get on the plane. Well, I hope that you all have enjoyed this blog. As we will be in China for who knows how long I don't think I will be keeping up this one. Thanks for reading.

| Wow! How awesome is God! Leica, April, and I walked from our training to a little place in Turner for dinner tonight. We went there expecting nothing more than to get some pizza and talk with each other for a short while. Instead, we got so much more. We met a wonderful sister from Korea who owned the cafe and the Turner Market that Leica and I have shopped at a few times. She sat with us and shared wonderful insight and encouragement with us. She taught us to really rely on God for what we need. She had a wonderful testimony and I know we will cherish the time we had with.

| Okay, so it's been quite a while since I've wrote on here. Leica and I are currently in Oregon for three weeks of training before we are off to China. We drove up here with my dad and step-mom from Missouri. We stopped in Colorado Spring, Salt Lake City, and even went out to the coast of Oregon to see the Ocean. It was a nice trip and we enjoyed it. We will be flying back to Kansas on the 14th of July and then we will go to San Antonio to visit with Leica family before leaving for China.

| We are going to Kansas City tonight to pick my mom up from the airport. She just went on a 5 day cruise in the Bahama's. Can't wait to hear about it. We just have a few more weeks before we go to Oregon for training and then off to China. We are hoping to find people who will let us stay with them for the three week training because the cost of living on campus is outrageous! So if you know anybody near Salem, OR let us know.-jared

| So, I've been out of training now for about five weeks. Every day seems to be filled with a lot of new situations that I haven't come across yet. I'm always having to ask questions and that's tough for me because I'm the kind of person that likes to figuer things out for myself. So I usually end up spending too much time trying to find answers I don't know how to find before I ask a question. So my numbers aren't very good yet, but I'm not doing any worse than most do there first year. We do have our computer now. A brand new Dell Inspiron B120. It's really nice having our own computer. I think we've found a home church. We've been attending the First Assembly of God church and it's really great. We like the people and the minister and the music. I've been playing bass with them and having a great time. Well, not much else to talk about now. Hope everyone had a great Easter.
